Holiday Carnival at Anaheim Town Square - Anaheim

Come one, come all to the BIGGEST, most SPECTACULAR Holiday Carnival at Anaheim Town Square. BALBOA PENINSULA (NEWPORT BEACH)

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade
Newport Beach/Newport Bay
December 14 – 18, 2022

FREE to the public. The boat parade will light up the harbor for five consecutive nights. The parade starts at Collins Island at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately three and a half hours over 250 ships participate in the parade along with hundreds of water front estates. Providing the backdrop for the parade is the Ring of Lights waterfront home and business decorating competition. FREE for spectators, entry fee for participating boats. Over million and half people view the parade each year.

For those of you that would like to be in parade both Newport Landing and Davey's Locker will offer general admission cruises nightly every night of the parade that are a part of the actual parade. Viewing the parade from a ship means that you see all of the parade and homes in full decor that line the waterfront. General admission tickets can be reserved over the phone.

Annual Nights of 1000 Lights

December 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2022
6 pm – 9 pm each night

The Annual Nights of 1000 Lights will be twelve nights of holiday cheer! Guests will walk the red carpet and stroll through the glistening light tunnel on your way to ‘Moulin Rouge,’ a Parisian dance hall in the Tea Garden featuring can-can dancers and French cabaret singers. Take photos by a classic 1938 Packard 120 Convertible Sedan, compliments of Packards International Motor Car Club. Sherman’s miniature railway, at the Sunset & Vine Station, takes you on a trip through time through the Hollywood Hills, illustrated with historic photos of Tinseltown from the Sherman Library & Gardens' archives.

The Garden Shop will be open and is a must-see for unique holiday gifts. Make a wish at The Wishing Tree and then head over to the fire pit to whip up your own batch of s’mores.

FREE holiday family event sponsored by the City of Dana Point.

Santa and his elves from the Recreation Division will be riding on his Jolly Trolley and making stops at the park locations listed below to hand out pre-packaged treats for kids up to 12 years of age. Santa’s elves will also be collecting letters to Santa. Please include your mailing address on the letter so Santa can return a special letter to you. At our last stop, La Plaza Park, from 4:30pm to 5:30pm the annual community tree lighting ceremony will be held with carolers, hot chocolate, and cookies. The tree lighting will be held promptly at 5:15pm. We will also be collecting unwrapped toys for the Spark of Love Toy Drive at the La Plaza Park location.

Boat Rides with Santa

Annual Boat Parade of Lights

December 9-11, 2022

Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats and vie for awards. You can view the parade free from anywhere in the Harbor, or make reservations at one of our restaurants to view it from a cozy and warm spot. Come on down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

It's the most wonderful time of the year when HB Downtown fills the 2nd block of Main Street with entertainment, holiday craft vendors, kid's activities, and refreshments. The Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Cruise of Lights® offers narrated boat tours through the waterways of Huntington Harbour in Huntington Beach, California. A Visit with Santa and a String Quartet Santa Claus is coming to town! Santa is making a stop at the Laguna Hills Community Center and will be available for pictures inside our giant walkthrough Holiday Ornament. A string quartet will perform Holiday music during Santa Claus’ visit. Refreshments will be provided by the OC Sheriff’s Department. Yappy Howl-iday

Santa Claus will make a special appearance for the Yappy Howl-iday Celebration. This festive gathering of canines and their companions provides Fido with the opportunity to be photographed with the “Big Dog” himself – Santa Claus. NEWPORT BEACH

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade
Newport Beach/Newport Bay
December 14 – 18, 2022

FREE to the public. The boat parade will light up the harbor for five consecutive nights. The parade starts at Collins Island at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately three and a half hours over 250 ships participate in the parade along with hundreds of water front estates. Providing the backdrop for the parade is the Ring of Lights waterfront home and business decorating competition. FREE for spectators, entry fee for participating boats. Over million and half people view the parade each year.

For those of you that would like to be in parade both Newport Landing and Davey's Locker will offer general admission cruises nightly every night of the parade that are a part of the actual parade. Viewing the parade from a ship means that you see all of the parade and homes in full decor that line the waterfront. General admission tickets can be reserved over the phone.

Annual Handel's Messiah community sing-along
