Scrooge! The Musical is a heartwarming and festive adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novella A Christmas Carol, featuring music, lyrics, and book by Leslie Bricusse.

Set in Victorian London, the story follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted moneylender who despises Christmas and lives a life devoid of compassion and joy. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him to change his ways or suffer a grim fate in the afterlife. Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future.

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

As the 117th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade moves its way through the Newport Harbor this December, the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Committee, with the leadership of The Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, will continue with its parade route starting and ending point at Tip of Lido Isle. The parade will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night from December 17 – 25, 2025.

For those of you that would like to be in parade both Newport Landing and Davey's Locker will offer general admission cruises nightly every night of the parade that are a part of the actual parade. Viewing the parade from a ship means that you see all of the parade and homes in full decor that line the waterfront. General admission tickets can be reserved over the phone.

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

As the 117th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade moves its way through the Newport Harbor this December, the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Committee, with the leadership of The Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, will continue with its parade route starting and ending point at Tip of Lido Isle. The parade will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night from December 17 – 25, 2025.

For those of you that would like to be in parade both Newport Landing and Davey's Locker will offer general admission cruises nightly every night of the parade that are a part of the actual parade. Viewing the parade from a ship means that you see all of the parade and homes in full decor that line the waterfront. General admission tickets can be reserved over the phone.

Crystal Cove Tree Lighting & Holiday Bazaar

From 10:00AM – 6:00PM, visitors can shop for gifts from local artisans during the Holiday Bazaar, meet Santa during a beachside photo op, munch on cookies and cocoa courtesy of The Beachcomber, and hear holiday tunes sung throughout the Cove by the Santa Ana High School Choir. The event will wrap-up as we light the iconic beach tree as the sun sets along the horizon.

As the sun dips into the horizon, we’ll light our iconic beach tree to celebrate the season. Come rain or shine, we hope to see you there!

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

The tree lighting will take place at 5:45 p.m. followed by a variety of holiday activities. In addition, the shops within the Los Rios District will offer unique gift shopping, live music and treats from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Free event trolley service will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The service includes two trolleys on 20-minute frequencies servicing a continuous loop from Junipero Serra Road (JSerra Catholic High School North Campus northern terminus) to a trolley stop at Stonehill Drive and Del Obispo Street.

The Santa tour by fire engine is a tradition that goes back decades in Villa Park. Each year Santa, Mrs. Claus and the VP City Council Elves jump on board an OCFA Fire Engine and make stops all throughout the city.
