This event starts early with a Firecracker Run at 7 a.m. at Canyon High School. The Yankee Doodle Dog Show and parade follows starting at 9 am at Canyon High School.

From there, the party moves to Peralta Park, where you will enjoy countless food vendor and expo booths of local businesses and organizations and live musical performances. Don’t forget to grab a seat for your family and friends as the night culminates with a spectacular fireworks display at 9 pm honoring the red white and blue!

Balboa Peninsula-Newport Bay July 4 Fireworks & Parade Cruises
July 4, 2024

Newport Landing will have cruises for the 4th Of July including the Firework Spectacular evening cruise.

Daytime cruise times - 4:00pm to 6:30pm. This 2.5 hour cruise travels along side the Old Glory Boat Parade through the world renowned Newport Bay. During your cruise you will see hundreds of yachts, sailing ships, and cruise ships navigating the harbor and creating a festive 4th of July boating experience. During your cruise you will also be taken out into the openen ocean to see the pristine Newport Beach coastline.

Night time fireworks cruise will run 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The 4th of July fireworks cruise is one of the most spectacular trips that we offer. This once a year event is something that everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime. You will spend the first hour or so cruising through the beautiful Newport Harbor amoung hundreds of other boats all celebrating the Spirit of America. Along the way we may spot some Dolphin or possibly a Giant Blue Whale

City of Laguna Beach Fireworks Display
July 4, 2024
City Fireworks Show Begins at 9:00 p.m.

The City fireworks show will originate from Monument Point at Heisler Park. For this reason, the Monument Point area will be closed all day on the 4th of July. Beginning at approximately 5pm, the area of Heisler Park from the Rock Bench at Myrtle Street to the Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed to the public to allow for fireworks preparation. Reminder: parking meters and City parking lots are enforced on July 4.

City Trolleys will operate under a modified schedule, all trolley routes will run from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The normal trolley schedule will resume on July 5. After the fireworks show, expect heavy traffic as many visitors will be leaving the city via Laguna Canyon Road and Coast Highway.

Festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, with live music beginning at 2:30 p.m. featuring Flashback Heart Attack (80’s Hits), followed by Family Style (Blues, Soul, and Rock n’ Roll) at 4:30 p.m. and the community favorite Tijuana Dogs (Classic Rock and Dance) closing the show.
