Anaheim Hills 4th of July Celebration
July 4, 2025
7 am - 9:30 pm

The Independence Day celebration will include a Firecracker 5k and 10k run, parade, dog show, live music, food, and of course a fireworks show. A pancake breakfast will be served at 7:30 AM at the Canyon High School field.

The day will start at 7 am with the 5k/10k run/walk followed by a dog show and other activities. Starting at 1 pm a parade will go from Canyon High School and end and Eucalyptus Park. Then beginning at 3 pm at Peralta Park food booths will open up followed with entertainment at 5 pm and a fireworks show at 9 pm.

Balboa Peninsula-Newport Bay July 4 Fireworks & Parade Cruises
July 4, 2025

Newport Landing will have cruises for the 4th Of July including the Firework Spectacular evening cruise.

Daytime cruise times - 4:00pm to 6:30pm. This 2.5 hour cruise travels along side the Old Glory Boat Parade through the world renowned Newport Bay. During your cruise you will see hundreds of yachts, sailing ships, and cruise ships navigating the harbor and creating a festive 4th of July boating experience. During your cruise you will also be taken out into the openen ocean to see the pristine Newport Beach coastline.

Night time fireworks cruise will run 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The 4th of July fireworks cruise is one of the most spectacular trips that we offer. This once a year event is something that everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime. You will spend the first hour or so cruising through the beautiful Newport Harbor amoung hundreds of other boats all celebrating the Spirit of America. Along the way we may spot some Dolphin or possibly a Giant Blue Whale

Annual Brea Country Fair
July 4, 2025

Come celebrate our Nation’s independence at Brea's Annual Country Fair full of patriotic festivities. The fair opens at 7:00 a.m. and continues until 3:00 p.m. There will be a pancake breakfast, live entertainment, kiddie parade, dog parade, classic car show, food, games, exhibits, and Market Place area featuring handmade gifts.

Admission to the Country Fair and the Plunge is free. Swimming at the Plunge begins at 12 p.m.

Large crowds are anticipated for the July 4th holiday and the City is requesting the public’s cooperation to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors. Annual Run for Fun Event

Start your Fourth of July celebrations on a healthy note! The La Palma Fitness Run for Fun offers more than just a typical running event - it's a chance to connect with your community and experience that small-town, hometown feeling. Spend quality time with your loved ones, neighbors, and friends while prioritizing your health and wellness through a fun and engaging run, walk, or stroll.

After completing the race, make sure to swing by Central Park for a delicious pancake breakfast, generously provided by the La Palma Kiwanis Club. Stay for the award presentations at the Park Pavilion, which will begin at 9:30 a.m.

3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular

** Due to ongoing military operations occurring at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB), civilian activities and events on Base have been temporarily paused. Access to the Base has been limited to mission critical personnel only. Unfortunately, this will impact the upcoming UWS 3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular event, resulting in an alternative event format: the fireworks display will take place, and live streamed via the City’s social media platforms at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025. No public will be allowed on the installation to view the fireworks display.

Our popular Universal Waste Systems (UWS) 3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular will be held at the Joint Forces Training Base on Thursday, July 3, 2025 in partnership with Los Alamitos and Seal Beach. The event features live music from Redneck Rodeo, a country band favorite, in addition to the 40th Infantry Division Band, a Family Fun Zone, including family-friendly entertainment and games, food and sales booths, and a spectacular fireworks show beginning promptly at 9:00 p.m. This is one of the best fireworks shows in Southern California!

The Mission Viejo Annual Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular
July 4, 2025

Old Glory Boat Parade

Each year the Newport Beach Harbor becomes a festive delight as owners adorned their boats in red-white-&-blue decorations, balloons, streamers and waving flags that outline the skies as Sousa Marches and Anthems fill the air. Families and friends from near and far arrive at the bay front beaches and yacht clubs along the peninsula and the many islands, vying for the best spot to settle down and view the boat parade.

For 58 years, runners have kicked off 4th of July festivities with an annual parade where decorated antique cars, tractors, walking groups, community organizations, and of course, horses, will take to the street to celebrate the 4th of July. All the fun begins in front of Salem Lutheran Church.

There will be no fireworks at this event.

This year’s family-friendly celebration will feature live music, food, games and activities, and a spectacular fireworks display. Festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4, with live music beginning at 3:00 p.m. featuring Electric Vinyl (music of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s), followed by Family Style (Blues, Soul and Rock n Roll) at 6:00 p.m.

In addition to the live entertainment, activities will include face painting, a mechanical car ride, electric bumper cars, multiple bounce houses, several midway-type games, lawn games and food trucks. There will also be a small vendor area for attendees to support local businesses and non-profit organizations. Fireworks are expected to start around 8:45 p.m.

Then, step into the White House East Room to hear from President George Washington, who will share captivating stories from the Revolutionary War and the founding of our nation.
