Veterans Day Ceremony

The event will include several speakers, representatives from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, cake and refreshments. We'll also celebrate the U.S. Marine Corps' 244th birthday.

Free to attend, all are welcome.

Veterans Day Ceremony - virtual

Honoring all the Men and Women Who Have Selflessly Served Our Country. You are invited to join the Brea community as they pay tribute to all military heroes, veterans, retired and active duty, and to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to their country.

Plan to arrive early, as seating and parking are limited. The underground parking at the Civic and Cultural Center will be closed at 9:15 a.m. Parking is also available at the Brea Community Center on Randolph and Madison Way.

Veterans of Foreign War Memorial Day Event
November 11, 2021
10:00 am

VFW Post 9934 and the City of Dana Point will present a Veterans Day program on Saturday, November 11, at the Dana Point Veterans Memorial starting at 10:00 am. The Memorial is located at 34201 Selva Road, at Strand Beach, just off Pacific Coast Highway.

The program will include an unveiling of the updated memorial plaques which list the names of persons who have died during the past year who were members of VFW Post 9934.

Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony

The observance, hosted by Fullerton American Legion Post 142, Fullerton Emblem Club 469 and the City of Fullerton, will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a parade in Fullerton’s historic downtown. The parade will begin at the Downtown Plaza, located on Wilshire Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard and adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center, go North on Harbor Blvd., to the newly renovated Hillcrest Park.

Once at Hillcrest Park, a ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. The ceremony will include placement of wreaths, patriotic solos by Kristen Romero, a gun salute by the Fullerton Police Department and the playing of “Taps”.

Veteran's Day Ceremony and Car Show
November 11, 2021
9 AM - 2 PM

The annual Veteran's Day Ceremony and Car Show in Huntington Beach remembers and honors the sacrifices of those Americans who gave their time, their fighting spirit, and sometimes their lives in war. Beginning at Pier Plaza with a Veteran's Day Ceremony, the day continues with hundreds of classic, collector cars, customs, motorcycles, and more at the city beach parking lot across the street from major resort hotels, Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa, and The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel. Enjoy various vendors with great food, stage entertainment including performances from local bands, and more.

Attendance is free though there is a fee if you plan to register and show a car. The event registration and donations support special veteran’s programs with proceeds from the event donated to nonprofit organizations.

The Veteran's Day Car Show is at Huntington Beach Parking Lot at Pacific Coast Highway & Huntington St.

Each year, Veterans Day reminds us of all the brave men and women who fight for freedom on our behalf. The members of our military make countless sacrifices to protect the lives we enjoy in this country. What they do takes an incredible amount of courage and they deserve our most sincere thanks. While things may be different this year, Nuvision will be honoring active military and veterans with a free $25 gas card giveaway outside at the Edinger branch in Huntington Beach on Wednesday, November 11th*. Please note, you must pre-register.

The Veterans Day gas card giveaway event will go from 8:00 AM to 11 AM. Pastries and coffee will also be provided for those who attend. In addition, we will also have an outdoor ceremony honoring military veterans at 9:00 AM with special guests including singer Elliott McKenzie, Centenarian William Kull, Seal Beach Naval Battalion Cadets, HB American Legion, OC Freedom Committee, and many others.

Pretend City Children's Museum: Remembering Veterans Day
November 11 , 2021

Today at Pretend City we’re recognizing our Veterans with educational activities and memorable events. This day is dedicated to teaching our young guests about why we appreciate our veterans and how we can show our appreciation. Join us as we show our respect and celebrate those who have sacrificed for our freedom!

Smart Art (Times Vary): Remembrance Wreath: Celebrate this special day in our Art Studio by adding to our remembrance wreath. This community project is an artistic way to show appreciation for our service members while making new friends.

• Let’s Move: Atten-tion! Calling all cadets! It’s time to get physical in this mini (not too strenuous) boot camp. Come hone your gross motor skills as we duck, march, and jump into formation.

• Sensational Story Time: Join us in Orange Plaza as we read the heartwarming story, Hero Mom which will teach your children about our nation’s veterans and why we honor them on this special day.

Veterans Day Event

The City of La Habra will host its annual Veterans Day program on at Portola Park this year beginning at 10:30 a.m., with the formal part of the program starting at 11:00 a.m. The event will include performances by the Swing Dolls and Moonlight Express big band.

Veterans Day Observance Ceremony

The City of Placentia will be hosting the 31st Annual Veterans Day Observance Ceremony at the Placentia Civic Center. The City is grateful for the many sacrifices made by the men and women who have served our Country. In their honor, we invite all residents, veterans, and their families to celebrate this Veterans Day with us. Special guest speakers, patriotic music and the new recipients of the Military Banner Recognition Program will be included in the event program.

In addition, the veterans monument expansion project will be unveiled and the additional names being added to the new monument stones.

Veterans Day Commemoration

Help honor the service of American military members at the November 11th Veterans Day celebration in the beautiful East Room at the Nixon Presidential Library.

There will be a Formal Presentation of Colors by the Troy High School Navy JROTC Program led by Col. Wayne Scott, USAF, Ret. who will be joined in conversation with World War II veterans, Corporal Nick Devereux, US Army Radioman Second Class Don Fosburg, US Navy. At 1:30pm, the Placentia Symphonic Band is in its 18th year of concerts for the people of Southern California.
