Acting Academy for Kids has emerged as a leader in the local performing arts community for youth. Now with three locations, AA4K has expanded to meet growing demand, but has never lost its personal touch that makes every show, every relationship, feel like family.

Every Fall, Winter and Spring, multiple casts—each with no more than 30 actors— embark on a three-month, intensive journey to bring a well-known musical to life. AA4K offers TV, film, and theatre acting classes, professionally-crafted musical theatre showcases, Spring Break and Summer performing arts camps, and private lessons in vocal training and acting. Serving children ages 3-12 and teens ages 13-18. It's time to watch your star shine!

Club Z! In-Home Tutoring

Club Z! music instructors provide children and adults of all skill levels (beginner through advanced) private, personalized instruction, right in the home of their student. Their music tutors are experienced instructors inspire students through patient instruction. Tutoring is available in almost all musical instruments including piano, guitar, wind, string and percussion instruments. Club Z! can also provide voice lessons.

Musical Mentors is and educational outreach program created for underprivileged children. Their goal is to provide these kids with a true chance for greatness through music education and effective mentors.

Ovations Performing Arts
Located in Mission Viejo
Offering voice and music classes for all ages and levels

Ovations Performing Arts Community is a community of technically trained performers offering classes in musical theater, acting and voice. Their mission is to create a positive and safe family atmosphere to help lift and support one another through the love of performance art.

In lieu of tuition, Ovations charges a Community Membership fee. For a single monthly fee, you will have access to any of their classes (excluding private lessons or summer camps). This includes all musical theater, acting, voice and music classes, as well as any rehearsals for community performing groups.

Van Tuyl Music Academy

Since 2004, VTMA has been the original music performance academy for lessons in Rock, Pop, Metal, Blues, Jazz and Modern Music. Our professional instructors are full-time professional musicians who love to teach! Whether you’re a total beginner or an advanced musician who want to get to the next level, we have an instructor who can help. Accepting students age 5 and up, our school creates specialized curriculum for any musician.

Bellagio String Youth Orchestra
Located in Dana Point

The Bellagio String Youth Orchestra is a solid environment where string musicians from OC rehearse and perform symphonic music. Students rehearse established masterworks and have the exciting opportunity to perform in concert halls as well as Disneyland. Musicians with two or more years of string instrumental experience may audition.

Auditions take place in June and September by appointment.

Chance Theater is offering a Music & Movement Workshop April 1- May 13, 2019.

This fun, high energy class will guide children to learn, create and explore music and rhythms by using stories, poems, and singing games while engaging our imaginations and natural sense of play.
