Santa Ana Art Walk

First Saturday of the Month
6:00pm - 10:00pm.

Downtown Santa Ana comes alive with arts the first Saturday of each month when galleries, theatres, artists and performers in the Artists Village host a monthly Open House for the public. This free event attracts as many as 1500 individuals who come from throughout Los Angeles and Orange County to walk more than 150 participating studios and galleries located in historic buildings in the heart of downtown Santa Ana.

The monthly event will give you access to buy original art work from some of Southern California's freshest, edgiest and most talented artists. It also will have open viewings of working lofts owned by artists and designers all in an award winning urban setting.

These informal salons bring together artists participating in 15 Minutes of Fame: Portraits from Ansel Adams to Andy Warhol and New Art for a New Century: Contemporary Acquisitions 2000-2010, who will participate in casual conversations with other artists, OCMA curators, and critics.

Rockin’ Tots at Orange County Trampoline Park - Santa Ana

Rockin Jum understands trampolines are fun but big kids and toddlers don’t always mix. ROCKIN’ TOTS offers a dedicated time when parents can have fun with their smaller children while socializing with their friends in a comfortable, low-key, air conditioned environment. Beach Cleanups - San Clemente & Huntington Beach
Held the second Saturday of every month

Invite your friends and family out to the CoastKeep monthly cleanup event to keep our beaches clean and learn about coastal conservation and marine debris.

The cleanups are held the 1st Saturday in San Clemente and the 2nd Saturday in Huntington.

Bolsa Chica Conservancy Wetland Restoration Events - Huntington Beach
Second Sunday & Last Saturday of each month
9:00am-12:00pm

Enjoy the Great Outdoors while helping to restore the Bolsa Chica Wetlands! Join us for our twice monthly service day every second Sunday and last Saturday of the month. Service includes restoration of native plant communities through non-native plant removal, and cleanup efforts. Wear close-toed shoes, layered clothing, protection from the sun and bring water. Ages 6 years – Adult (Kids under 14 need to be supervised by an adult). Donations of heavy duty trash bags, work gloves, and bottled water are appreciated!

Goin Native Therapeutic Gardens is partnering with pure. love. yoga to bring you a truly restorative and relaxing experience. We find that a lot of our healing comes from being among the plants and the trees of our garden at GNTG headquarters. We are able to be Present and mindful in a much more meaningful way when we are among Nature. So we thought it was a great idea to invite you to join us in our garden sanctuary.

Yoga sessions are every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 AM – 10 AM. Sessions are donation based and it is requested that you bring a thick mat with you! Join every now and again, join every session, join when you can. If you can’t make our normally scheduled yoga sessions, bring your partner and come to our Date Night Yoga events!

A special time in the museum for parents and their babies 18 months and younger WHAT: Join us this Sunday, August 8th for our monthly Baby Steps through the city event! Enjoy exploring the city with our littlest learners in mind. Parents and their children ages 0-18 months are welcome, no older siblings please! Plus, enjoy a special visit from the Orange County Fire Authority to help us learn how to play safe this summer.

Spanish or French Immersion Parent and Toddler Classes

Accompanied by parents or caregivers, these young "students" (ages 1 to 3 years) start learning Spanish through a variety of activities designed to engage their minds and bodies. Music and movement form the foundation for the classes, as the children sing simple, rhythmic songs and dance, run, spin and jump around the room! Our teachers work with the accompanying adults so that they can reinforce learning at home. We speak in Spanish the entire class but have no fear...it's super easy! These "play-classes" are great for parents and caregivers who want to learn Spanish alongside their children!

Bolsa Chica Conservancy - Wetlands Tour - Huntington Beach
1st Saturday of the month
9 am - 10:30 am

offers an exceptional on-site presentation of the Bolsa Chica Story. On the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., our docents gather at the south lot of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, across the street from the main entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach. Docents are stationed on or near the footbridge, a truly magnificent entrance to the restored Bolsa Chica wetlands. Tours begin every 15 minutes and five areas of interest are included in the presentation: history, birds, endangered species, ecology and restoration. This free tour is on a first come, first served basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for vacationers, students, small groups and local citizens to visit our valuable resource.
