Pacific Symphony presents: Summer Replay - Online
August 13, August 27 & September 10, 2020

Free Bi-weekly Thursday Night Online Series

Summer Replay, a complimentary, four-concert virtual series, invites audiences to revisit Pacific Symphony performances of great masterworks featured in past seasons. The series host will be Eileen Jeanette, the Symphony’s senior vice-president of artistic planning. She welcomes audiences to each program and interviews special guests before each concert begins, including Music Director Carl St.Clair (July 30), pianist Orli Shaham (Aug. 13), Principal Bassoon Rose Corrigan (Aug. 27) and Principal Trumpet Barry Perkins (Sept. 10).

Virtual concerts can be viewed by signing in with an email address. Each program will be available on demand for 45 days after each performance premiere date.

Art Along the Coast - From San Clemene to Santa Ana
August 22 & 23, August 29 & 30, 2020

Art Along the Coast is a no-cost, self-guided tour where thirty-four South Orange County fine artists will be showcasing their craft and providing art lovers with exclusive access to their studios and exhibition venues. The public will be able drive the tour at their leisure to a total of fourteen locations from San Clemente through Santa Ana.

Visitors will experience a behind-the-scenes look into the creative work and exhibition spaces of these exceptional fine artists, and be given the chance to purchase new art not yet seen by the public. The participating artists were all juried into the eighty-five year old Laguna Beach Festival of Arts 2020 season, which has been canceled for the first time since WWII.

At Art Steps, we teach realistic, classical drawing and painting skills to kids ages 4 and up, teens and adults. Students receive hands-on, step-by-step guidance as they walk through lessons in a variety of subject matter and media, from crayons through oil paint, gaining confidence through learning to skillfully render what they see, one step at a time.

Whale Watching - Dana Point & Newport Beach

Gray Whales migrate annually along the west coast of North America. They can be seen from the Orange County coast from December through April.

Summer and fall bring the giant blue whales. They can be seen from May through October

Humpback whales, finback whales, & minke whales are viewed year round. Giant marine protected park provides pristine habitat for whales and dolphin and means a simple 2-2.5 hour cruise is all that needed to see whales and dolphin from Dana Point and Newport Beach
