Designed to be engaging, challenging and entertaining for adults! An incredibly fun and unique competition where you'll prove if your detective skills are good enough to solve a murder…

Each team is given a list of suspects along with a packet of tricky clues, twisted riddles and mind-bending puzzles. All on foot, our logic-based clues will systematically lead you to explore Newport Beach - including The Fun Zone, Balboa Pier, Peninsula Park, and the ferry to Balboa Island. Using your wits and some creativity, each location will reveal another piece of your investigation, and you'll eliminate innocent suspects until you've discovered… Who Done It?

This is NOT a Phone App game. This is an event with a host and other teams. Bring a cell phone to call the helpline in case you get stumped, but a smart phone is not needed, and will not help you. This is great fun for both locals and tourists. There's no official age limit, but the logic-based clues are too difficult for young kids.

Doggie Dive - San Clemente
November 22, 2025
9 am - 12 pm

Bring your dog, with proof of a current LICENSE & RABIES VACCINATION and unleash the FUN at the City of San Clemente’s annual Doggie Dive event located at the Ole Hanson Beach Club on Saturday, November 22nd beginning at 9am! This is a Recreational Swim Event for dogs and their families, before we close the pool for winter maintenance. Dogs run the pool at a DOGS ONLY Pool Paw-ty!

Show off your doggie’s style and enter them in the Costume Contest beginning at 9:00am, enjoy a dip in our pools with tennis balls, and eat a tasty treat at the doggie Pie Eating Contest beginning at 11:30am on the front lawn. All events are Dogs Only! Each participant will enjoy prizes and doggie goodie bags while supplies last. Tickets are $7 per dog pre-registered,$10 at the door, humans get in free!

Orange County Rescue Mission Turkey Trot - Tustin

Boat Rides with Santa
December 6-7, 2025
Trips run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Come aboard for a twenty-minute Harbor cruise with Santa and his helpers. Santa will be hearing those Christmas wishes as you cruise the Harbor. Bring your cameras for pictures with Santa. Tickets are $5 per person and all proceeds will benefit the Soroptimist of Capistrano Bay.

Tamale Festival - Placentia

The Placentia Santa Fe Merchants Association and the City of Placentia are proud to bring you the annual Tamale Festival to be held in Old Town Placentia in the 100-200 blocks of Santa Fe Street.

The event will feature live entertainment, food and tamale vendors, non-profit booths, business booths, a beer garden, pictures with Santa Claus, a Holiday Tree Lighting, and a kid's games area.

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade
Newport Beach/Newport Bay
December 17-21, 2025

As the 116th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade moves its way through the Newport Harbor this December, the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Committee, with the leadership of The Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, will continue with its parade route starting and ending point at Tip of Lido Isle. The parade will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night from December 17-21, 2025

For those of you that would like to be in parade both Newport Landing and Davey's Locker will offer general admission cruises nightly every night of the parade that are a part of the actual parade. Viewing the parade from a ship means that you see all of the parade and homes in full decor that line the waterfront. General admission tickets can be reserved over the phone.

Whale Watching - Dana Point & Newport Beach

Gray Whales migrate annually along the west coast of North America. They can be seen from the Orange County coast from December through April.

Summer and fall bring the giant blue whales. They can be seen from May through October

Humpback whales, finback whales, & minke whales are viewed year round. Giant marine protected park provides pristine habitat for whales and dolphin and means a simple 2-2.5 hour cruise is all that needed to see whales and dolphin from Dana Point and Newport Beach
