St NorbertFest - Orange

The annual St. Norbertfest (formerly Oktoberfest) continues to grow and helps to build the parish, school, and the Orange community. There will be great food fun games such as Sumo Mania, bingo, raffles, exciting ridesand awesome entertainment for everyone—it’s a perfect time for fellowship!

San Juan Capistrano Greek Festival - San Juan Capistrano
September 25-26, 2021

Be Greek for the day! Enjoy authentic Greek food and pastries, live Greek music and dancing, shopping at the Greek bazaar, kid friendly activities and exhibits featuring Byzantine icons and traditional Greek costumes.

Annual Sandcastle Contest - Corona Del Mar
September 26, 2021
10 am to 4:30 pm

Hosted by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, thousands of sightseers will descend on "Big Corona Beach" to view amazing sand sculptures created by participants ranging from the novice to the expert.

Whether you're a participant or a spectator, it's a perfect way to spend the day with family and friends.

Balboa Island ArtWalk - Balboa
Sunday, September 26, 2021

The Balboa Island Artwalk is the premier showcase for talented local artists and marks the start of Balboa Island's summer season. This fine art show features 100 artists exhibiting paintings, fine jewelry, blown glass, sculpture, and photography. Spectators will enjoy live music throughout the day.

Orange County Children's Book Festival - Costa Mesa
Special reading challenge will begin October 22, 2021. The Festival will return in 2022.

For 2021 - Announcing an out-of-this-world event presented by the Orange County Children’s Book Festival Launching on October 22, 2021 is the first S.T.E.A.M. Race to Space Reading Challenge! Rocket over to ReadSteam.org to learn more!

The Orange County Children’s Book Festival is designed specifically for children of all ages. This family-fun festival attracts more than 30,000 visitors who will be entertained and delighted by authors, illustrators, booksellers, animals, storytellers, costumed characters, train rides, crafts, food and entertainment and much, much more.

Oktoberfest - Huntington Beach
September 19 - October 31, 2021
Wednesday through Sunday

Old World Huntington Beach has been host of Orange County's Biggest Party since 1977! This year's Oktoberfest promises to be the best celebration yet, offering authentic German Food (voted "Best Bratwurst" in California), imported German Beers, German Bands straight from Germany, an army of Beautiful Shot Girls, and other festivities, competitions, games & more.

Whale Watching - Dana Point & Newport Beach

Gray Whales migrate annually along the west coast of North America. They can be seen from the Orange County coast from December through April.

Summer and fall bring the giant blue whales. They can be seen from May through October

Humpback whales, finback whales, & minke whales are viewed year round. Giant marine protected park provides pristine habitat for whales and dolphin and means a simple 2-2.5 hour cruise is all that needed to see whales and dolphin from Dana Point and Newport Beach
