BALBOA PENINSULA (NEWPORT BEACH)

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade
Newport Beach/Newport Bay
December 17-21, 2025

As the 116th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade moves its way through the Newport Harbor this December, the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Committee, with the leadership of The Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, will continue with its parade route starting and ending point at Tip of Lido Isle. The parade will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night from December 17-21, 2025

For those of you that would like to be in parade both Newport Landing and Davey's Locker will offer general admission cruises nightly every night of the parade that are a part of the actual parade. Viewing the parade from a ship means that you see all of the parade and homes in full decor that line the waterfront. General admission tickets can be reserved over the phone.

Eagle Hills

If you are looking for a great neighborhood to walk or drive through to enjoy Christmas lights, Eagle Hills is a great spot with around 100 home participation in holiday lights displays. All through December, you're welcome to drive or walk through the streets to take in lights, decorations, live music and live nativity scenes.

LOCATION:
Enter on East Birch and South Starflower Streets or East Lambert Road and Sunflower Street. Make sure you visit Primrose Street

COSTA MESA

Snoopy House Holiday Display
5:30 to 9 p.m. nightly from December 12-19, 2025

The beloved Snoopy House holiday display has been a Costa Mesa and Orange County holiday tradition since 1966. Letters from Santa, Snoopy Lights Display, performers, vendors.

DANA POINT

Annual Boat Parade of Lights
December 12-14, 2025
6:30 pm

Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats and vie for awards. You can view the parade free from anywhere in the Harbor, or make reservations at one of our restaurants to view it from a cozy and warm spot. Come on down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

Cruise of Lights
December 19 - 23, 2025

The Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Cruise of Lights® offers narrated boat tours through the waterways of Huntington Harbour in Huntington Beach, California. In December both locals and visitors share the beauty of thousands of lights and animated displays on brightly decorated homes, docks, decks and boats.

LOCATION:
Park in the Huntington Harbour Mall lot (corner of Algonquin and Saybrook) and get on the designated buses that travel a short distance to the boat launch area.

MISSION VIEJO

Mission Viejo Lights

Located by the Mission Viejo Civic Center, visitors can see Santa's Workshop. On some nights, Santa will be there to greet all visitors with a cheerful, Ho! Ho! Ho! and a peppermint candy cane.

Besides this permanent display, all Mission Viejo residents are encouraged to brighten their neighborhood and share the holiday spirit by competing in the annual Holiday Lighting Contest with prizes given to the top five homes. It's fun take a drive through the Mission Viejo streets to find out how the contest is going.
