7 am - 9:30 pm
This event starts early with a 5K/10K run at 7 a.m. with a starting line at Santa Ana Canyon Road. The Yankee Doodle Dog Show and parade follows starting at 9 am at Canyon High School. From there, the party moves to Peralta Park, where you will enjoy countless food vendor and expo booths of local businesses and organizations and live musical performances. Don’t forget to grab a seat for your family and friends as the night culminates with a spectacular fireworks display at 9 pm honoring the red white and blue!

Landing will have 3 cruises for the 4th Of July
including the Firework Spectacular evening cruise.
2 1/2 hour daytime cruise times - 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm & 4:00 pm to 6:30pm. These cruises travel along side the Old Glory Boat Parade through the world renowned Newport Bay. During your cruise you will also be taken out into the open ocean to see the pristine Newport Beach coastline.
Night time fireworks cruise will run 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. You will spend the first hour or so cruising through the beautiful Newport Harbor amoung hundreds of other boats all celebrating the Spirit of America. After sunset you will have a front row seat to one of the largest 4th of July fireworks displays in Southern California.

City Fireworks Show Begins at 9:00 p.m.
The City fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. The fireworks will originate from Monument Point at Heisler Park. For this reason, the Monument Point area will be closed all day on the 4th of July. Beginning at approximately 5pm,the area of Heisler Park from Myrtle Street to the Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed to the public to allow for fireworks preparation.
After the fireworks show, expect heavy traffic as many visitors will be leaving the city via Laguna Canyon Road and Coast Highway.

We are excited to celebrate the 43rd year of bringing this annual community and family tradition to celebrate Independence Day. This year we are offering two options, a 5k and a Kids Run. Every race entry fee directly benefits the YMCA scholarship fund. This fund supports those most in need in our community. Over the last three years, we have all struggled with the impacts of the pandemic, some more than others. We are proud to stay that through it all we remained open (when we could) and provided scholarships to those most in need because of funds raised from events like this one. The Y is here for you, for the community and for good.

The City of La Habra will again hold it's 4th of July festivities this year! This year's theme is "Celebrating Our Freedom". The event will include a fireworks display, live music by Suave, a military flyover, kids' activities, food vendors, and retail vendors.
Wristbands are on sale at the La Habra Community Center, 101 W. La Habra Blvd., Mon.-Fri., 8 am-5 pm. Pre-sale wristband price is $5 for adults (ages 13+ years) and $3 per child (ages 3-13 years). Wrist band price on the day of the event will be $7 for adults (ages 13+ years) and $5 per child (ages 3-13 years). Children 2 years and under are always free. Also free are U.S. active duty military, reserves, and retired military personnel with I.D.
