K-12 Public Speaking, Debate & Leadership Program
Critical Thinking, Communication & Lifelong Skills.
Students will find their voice through participating in this public speaking, debate and leadership program.
Program participants will develop critical skills such as thinking on their feet and building sound arguments. This series of classes will also help students develop interview skills, problem-solving & teamwork as well as learning to develop communication skills such as empowering themselves through public speaking and voicing their opinions. This is a great opportunity for participants to build lifelong friendships with teammates and participate in competitive speech and debate tournaments.

Transportation Services - Senior Mobility Program
The Senior Mobility Program (SMP) provides transportation
services to seniors in 17 participating cities,
the Vietnamese Community of Orange County in
Santa Ana and the Korean-American Senior Association
in Garden Grove. Thanks to SMP, seniors can
take trips to community centers, meal programs,
medical appointments and shopping centers. Under
the program, participating cities are eligible
to receive funds and vehicles from OCTA to help
design and operate a transit program that best
fits the needs of older adults in their communities.
