Airports

John Wayne Airport

The only commercial service airport in Orange County, California. It is located approximately 35 miles south of Los Angeles, between the cities of Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach and Santa Ana. The service area includes 3 million people within the 34 cities and unincorporated areas of Orange County. In 2003, more than 8.5 million passengers were served.

Los Angeles International Airport

LAX ranks fifth in the world in passengers and sixth in the world in tonnage of air cargo handled, and its popularity shows no sign of decreasing having handled 75 percent of the passengers in the five-county Southern California region.

Long Beach Airport

Known as the Region's "Easy In, Easy Out" Airport, Long Beach Airport situated midway between Los Angeles and Orange County, Long Beach offers easy access to the area's business centers and massive consumer markets. Long Beach Airport provides a degree of ground and air transportation convenience that is unparalleled in Southern California, and the lowest-cost parking in the region.

Ontario International Airport

A medium-hub, full-service airport with commercial jet service to major U.S. cities and through service to many international destinations. ONT is located in the Inland Empire, approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles in the center of Southern California.

San Diego International Airport

San Diego International Airport is served by 18 commercial airlines, bringing over 15 million passengers through San Diego International Airport every year.

Boat

Catalina Express

Daily boat departures to Catalina Island from San Pedro, Long Beach and Dana Point.

The adventure begins on board Catalina Express where sitting on an outside upper deck, you can take in ocean breezes or keep your eyes peeled to catch a glimpse of White-sided dolphins. Passengers on board Catalina Express can expect to arrive in Catalina in about an hour, from Long Beach, San Pedro or Dana Point. Catalina Express offers year round service and the convenience of up to 30 round trips daily.

Buses

ACCESS
Service for those with limitations caused by a disability

ACCESS is OCTA's shared-ride service for people who are unable to use the regular, fixed-route bus service because of functional limitations caused by a disability. These passengers must be certified by OCTA to use the ACCESS system by meeting the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) eligibility criteria.

Orange County Transitportation Authority

Whether heading down the street or across Orange County, OCTA provides extensive bus service that is safe and convenient.

An online trip planner is available on their website. Enter your starting & ending points and let OCTA provide your detailed trip itinerary.

Greyhound

With two Orange County Stations, you can buy tickets and schedule your trip online.
