The event will raise money for the research that will lead to cures for retinal degenerative diseases, including retinitis pigmentosa (RP), macular degeneration, Usher syndrome, Stargardt disease, and numerous others. These diseases affect more than nine million Americans of all races and ethnic groups, young and old. More than 600 members of the community are expected to participate in this year's Walk.

Fine Arts and Music Festival - Yorba Linda

Vince Ferragamo Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic - La Quinta
Monday, June 2, 2008

Over the last 25 years, this event has raised over $1,600,000 to benefit the Special Olympics and other worthwhile charities. These funds help make it possible to operate year-round sports training programs and competitions for mentally handicapped children and adults. The Vince Ferragamo Foundation was developed to establish additional fundraising events to benefit Special Olympics and other qualified non-profit organizations.

Spring Garden Tour - San Clemente

10 AM to 4 PM

Annual one-day self-guided tour of five outstanding local gardens. The community and members of the Garden Club are invited to visit these showplace gardens that offer diverse landscape design, plant materials and lots of good ideas to take home to their own garden. Proceeds from the tour benefit their scholarship project and civic beautification projects.

Annual Irish Fair and Music Festival
June 21-22, 2008

The Great American Irish Fair and Music Festival is the largest festival of its kind in the Western United States. 2nd Annual La Habra Host Lion’s Club Poker Run

A 70 mile motorcycle ride beginning at Anaheim/Fullerton Harley Davidson, traveling through Orange County, including Old Town Orange, Santiago Canyon, Featherly Regional Park, Brea and La Habra. Event finishes with a ‘Show and Shine’ Car Show, raffles, prizes, food and LIVE entertainment!

Annual Ride The Coast - Santa Ana

Art-A-Fair - Laguna Beach

The Art-A-Fair Festival is a community of artists which gathers every summer in Laguna Beach for what has become Southern California's fastest growing art festival. La Habra Corn Festival - La Habra
August 1-3, 2008

The festival includes a fall parade and two day carnival at El Centro Park. The Corn Festival Parade is open to most any group that wants to participate. Applications may be obtained at the La Habra Chamber of Commerce or from Pageantry Productions in South Gate. The parade is one of the largest daytime parades in southern California.
