TET FESTIVAL - Costa Mesa
February 16-18, 2018

Helping preserve Vietnamese culture, the Tet Festival boasts about the attraction of over 100,000+ audiences and hundreds of booths in a span of a three day weekend event. Visitors are immersed with a vibrant array of traditional foods, live entertainment, festive games, and customs celebrating the Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

Belly Dancer of the Universe Global X-PO & Competition - Anaheim

DANCE | HEALTH | FITNESS | BEAUTY - Come see some of the world's most talented belly dancers at the Belly Dancer of the Universe X-PO and Competition on February 17-18 at the Business Expo Center in Anaheim. This event combining belly dancing and fitness is the first of its kind to bridge the gap between the two activities! 16 Categories - $7300 in prizes - Live music & dance party Saturday night, and the finals on Sunday Afternoon!

The Kid's Pet Parade

Part of the annual Fiesta de las Golondrinas celebration. Kids between the ages of 5 to 12 can show off their favorite animals in a contest for, The Cutest, Most Unusual, Best Team Costume (owner and pet), Funniest & Most Obedient (pet, not child).

A special "Judges Choice" prize will be awarded and this winner will be given the opportunity to be in the Swallows' Day Parade.

Los Alamitos 'Race on the Base' - Los Alamitos
February 23 & 24, 2018

The yearly event has continued to provide not only a forum for local avid runners and walkers, but has also instilled a sense of pride and teamwork between the Los Alamitos City Council, the citizens of Los Alamitos, the Rossmoor Community Services District, and the local business community.

The race is held on the run ways at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos and features helicopters, planes and military vehicles with music throughout the course. Events and activities for the whole family!

Irvine Park Railroad Anniversary Celebration
February 24–25, 2018

To celebrate their 21st year of business and to show appreciation to all their loyal customers Irvine Park is rolling back to their original 1996 prices during their anniversay weekend… including $2.00 train rides!

Discovery Cube's Rainforest Adventure - Santa Ana
January 20 - September 9, 2018

Whale Watching - Dana Point & Newport Beach

Parenting OC's Annual Summer Opportunities Jamboree - Santa Ana

Parenting OC returns to Discovery Cube for its annual Kids’ Summer Opportunities Jamboree event. This year, Jamboree will have special guests, along with games and many new exhibitors featuring family travel destination spots, summer camps, and school information.

The Aquarium of the Pacific will be in attendance with the acclaimed Aquarium on Wheels, and back by popular demand is the Bubble-Dash Games. Come on down for this fun-filled, free family event.

The annual Dana Point Festival of Whales celebrates the return of the once-endangered California Gray Whale with a leviathan-size event. Dachshund Races - Huntington Beach

Swallows Day Fiesta Grande - San Juan Capistrano

This night of Old West entertainment consists of four contests are rolled into one! Best Dressed Old West Man, Best Dressed Old West Woman, Best Belt Buckle, and the Hairiest Man (best moustache and/or beard). So don your finest Old West outfit, belt buckle or facial hair! and enter one or more of the contests. There is a $5 entry fee (pay when you arrive) per category for each contestant entered.

For the more timid, spectators are always welcome at the hilarious Fiesta Grandé.

Swallows Day Parade & Mercado - San Juan Capistrano
Saturday, March 24, 2018

The Parade takes place in down-town San Juan Capistrano. This is the nation's largest non-motorized parade. It is totally organized and presented by the San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association. Arrive early; most street closures are by 10.00 a.m. The parade begins promptly at 11 am.

The Mercado is a Street Fair and Market Place where you can eat, drink, and shop at over 100 booths. It is THE place to be after the parade! Listen and dance to the music of The Working Cowboy Band, a traditional country music band.

Discovery Cube's Bubblefest - Santa Ana
March 24 - April 8, 2018
10 am - 5 pm

Pop into Spring Break with this bubble spectacular, featuring hands-on family fun, the return of Deni Yang and the Mega Bubblefest Laser show! Bubblefest provides learners of all ages the opportunity to discover more about the science behind the soapy fun. A Bubblefest ticket grants access to the bubble zone, water spheres, educational bubble activities, an early learners area for guests 5 and under, and admission into the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show, featuring Deni Yang.
