Style Report Magazine’s Fall Fashion Show - Newport Beach

Style Report, the online magazine is celebrating their re-branding with a a Fall Fashion Show featuring the hottest fall looks – all available at local boutiques -- and party at Envy Lounge in Newport Beach on Thursday, September 29th.

Tickets include 1 free drink and proceeds from the event will benefit Global G.L.O.W. (Girls Leading Our World), a nonprofit based in Santa Ana that is dedicated to empowering girls throughout the world.

Whale Watching - Dana Point & Newport Beach

Blue Whales Make For An Exciting October In Newport Beach - Newport Beach

Want to see Giant Blue Whales lunge feeding October is great month to do just that. Newport Landing in Newport Beach offers cruises daily to view these incredible mammals as they feed in fall sunlight. Huge amounts of krill can be found in coastal waters of Newport Beach in October creating a smorgasbord for all types of whales, but especially the giant blue whales. Often viewed with mouths agape the giant blue whales slurp in huge amounts of ocean water and krill. Want to add viewing a blue whale lunge feeding this is the month to do it.

San Clemente Sea Fest - San Clemente

Annual Sandcastle Contest - Corona Del Mar

Toshiba Golf Classic

For seven days in March, Newport Beach welcomes the legends of the golf world. German Unity Day - Huntington Beach

Dana Point State BBQ Championship - Dana Point

Heading into it's fifth year, The Dana Point State Barbecue Championship has already become the largest BBQ event on the West Coast. More than 100 teams from all over the country compete for cash and prizes in this Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event. The 2013 event drew more than 10,000 people who got to sample some of the best BBQ they will ever eat.

The FREE event will feature great live music, a wide variety of microbrews, a vendor midway, Kids Zone, fun activities and more.

The Heritage Festival and Parade - Placentia

Since 1965, this celebration of the city's heritage includes a parade and fair booths. The festivities begin with the Chamber of Commerce pancake breakfast at 6:30 a.m. followed by the parade and band review at 9:30 a.m. The festival begins at 9:30 a.m. and will feature many exciting activities for the entire family including the annual car show, a crafts fair, food booths, kids games and more.

Annual Silverado Country Fair and Folk Festival - Silverado

13th Annual College Fair & Fall Preview - Anaheim

Annual Historical Cemetery Tour - Santa Ana

Presented by the Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society. This guided historical walking tour features costumed actors portraying colorful men and women who share stories from Orange County’s past. Docents will guide visitors through scenes that played important roles in the history of the county, culminating in a presentation in Fairhaven’s beautiful 1916 mausoleum. Comfortable shoes are recommended for the hour-and-a-half long walking tour.

Wings, Wheels and Rotors Expo - Los Alamitos
