Etnies Skate Park Summer Skate Camp

With over 500 participants successfully completing skate camp at the Etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest since we opened in 2003, our skate camp programming has grown into one of the most successful skate camp programs offered through city programming. Each day of camp will consist of detailed instruction, camp activities, skateboard movies, games, and a lunch break. Specific clinics covering the basics of ollies, kick flips, rails, boxes, and ramp skateboarding will be held by experienced Skatepark staff. Each week campers will also receive a DVD of the week's highlights produced by the Skatepark staff along with an introduction to skateboard videography. All proceeds go directly to keeping the park free.

Banzai Surf School offers a weeklong program that meets from Monday-Friday, three hours a day, either 9 to noon, or 11 to 2 daily.

Soft boards, wetsuits (FULL length when necessary, something you won’t find at other camps), and daily instruction are provided, all for a price that’s less than renting. This is a fun week of surfing for all ages – we sometimes get whole families! Banzai instructors have passed background checks in addition to their water safety credentials. Student to instructor ratio is typically 4 to 1, though youngsters 6-8 years old will always get special attention and time with instructors.
