Etnies Skate Park Summer Skate Camp - Lake Forest
With over 500 participants successfully completing skate camp at the Etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest since we opened in 2003, our skate camp programming has grown into one of the most successful skate camp programs offered through city programming. Each day of camp will consist of detailed instruction, camp activities, skateboard movies, games, and a lunch break. Specific clinics covering the basics of ollies, kick flips, rails, boxes, and ramp skateboarding will be held by experienced Skatepark staff. Each week campers will also receive a DVD of the week's highlights produced by the Skatepark staff along with an introduction to skateboard videography. All proceeds go directly to keeping the park free.

Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park

Over 1,500 acres of deeply forested canyons, scenic rock formations and grassy rolling hills are enriched by intermittent streams and trails to create an ideal open-air opportunity for hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. The park's interpretive center features a trail rest stop, cultural and natural history exhibits and park information.

Skateboarding:

Etnies Skate Park - Lake Forest
Designed for all ages, these lessons can help develop the skills needed to succeed on your skateboard. Beginning, intermediate and private classes are available. Taught by experienced riders who are capable of showing beginning riders where to start and showing advanced riders new tricks such as switch stance and pool coping grinds. Availability is limited. Full protective gear consisting of a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads are required. Skate park is open for free skating during scheduled hours.
