Grand Central Art Center

California State University, Fullerton's Grand Central Art Center is collaboration between artists, students, and the community. This 45,000 square-foot, city-block long, three-level structure houses live/studio spaces for visual arts graduate students, the Grand Central Gallery, the Project room, the Grand Central Theater, Watermark Press, the Gypsy Den Café, classrooms and much more.

Showcase Gallery - Orange County Fine Arts
3 Locations in Santa Ana

Both OCFA galleries feature a broad range of innovative and imaginative pieces created by artists ranging in style from traditional to contemporary and even to daring, experimental modalities.

All OCFA exhibits are comprised of framed original paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel as well as photography and mixed media pieces. Original sculpture, ceramics and jewelry are also on display for collectors and admirers alike while affordable pricing makes collecting original artwork attractive to both connoisseurs and amateurs who are seeking unique pieces to compliment their homes and businesses.

Orange County Fine Arts has three galleries and a large studio space. The studio space is available for rent for $100 per month and the Studio Workshop area is available for art instructors to have workshops and classes.

Historical Places of Interest

The Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House and Medical Museum

The Dr. Howe-Waffle House was built in 1889 by Dr. Alvin Howe and his wife, Dr. Willella Howe. The House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as a California Historic Point of Interest, and as a landmark building on the City of Santa Ana's Historic Register. Tours are given by the Santa Ana Historical Society.

Episcopal Church of the Messiah

Santa Ana's oldest church in continuous use, completed in 1888.

Floral Park

Located in the northern tip of Santa Ana, the Floral Park neighborhood is a community of more than 600 period (vintage) homes built in the 1920’s through the 1950’s. Recognized as one of Orange County’s most established neighborhoods, our neighborhood is representative of a bygone era—one of gracious tree-shaded streets, abundant lawns and flowers, unique and stylish homes and, most importantly, friendly neighbors!

The Kellogg House at Heritage Museum of Orange County

The Kellogg House was designed by Hiram Clay Kellogg and was built in 1898. The house is built in the Queen Anne Victorian style, but contains a variety of unique architectural elements derived from Kellogg's personal love of ships. The most unusual, perhaps, is the salvaged ship's mast that forms the vertical core of the house.

Old Orange County Courthouse

Located in the heart of Santa Ana, this structure stood witness to all of the local governmental transactions and court proceedings that shaped the early history of Orange County.

The facility, recently restored, houses a museum and Orange County Archives.

Heritage Museum of Orange County

Centennial Heritage Museum is a Victorian gem tucked away in southwest Santa Ana. The historic plaza features several buildings from the 1890s set among extensive gardens and citrus groves. Among these is the Kellogg House, familiar to teachers and students throughout Orange County as a favorite field trip destination.

The Galaxy Concert Theater

The Galaxy Concert Theatre has presented performances by everyone from Little Richard to Beck to Good Charlotte over the past 13 years. This 550-seat theater/dining venue hosts shows featuring performers from a variety of musical genres including country, metal, punk, dance and alternative rock.
