Los Alamitos Annual 10K Run/5K Run - February
The yearly event has continued to provide not only a forum for local avid runners and walkers, but has also instilled a sense of pride and teamwork between the Los Alamitos City Council, the citizens of Los Alamitos, the Rossmoor Community Services District, and the local business community.

Spring Carnival: April

The Spring Carnival is held in the Community Center Parking Lot, 10911 Oak St., for ages 12 and under. Admission is $3 per child (adults are free) and includes all games, prizes and rides. Great fun for everyone!

Rossmoor Community Picnic : 1st Sunday in May

Sponsored by the Rossmoor Homeowners Association and held in Rush Park, Rossmoor in May. 2006 Event includes live music, a dog parade, classic automobiles, local craft vendors, the Orange County Sheriff's Helicopter and the Oxygen Party Bar. Admission is free with family fun for everyone. Come early and meet your neighbors.

Fireworks Spectacular: July 4

Presented in cooperation with the cities of Los Alamitos, Cypress and Seal Beach, the Rossmoor Community Services District and the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Center. This event is held on the grounds of the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Center. The gates open at 5pm. Admission is free. Come early and enjoy the military displays and pre-show entertainment. The fireworks show begins at dark.

Concert on the Green: Summer

Held at Laurel Park, on the corner of Katella Avenue and Bloomfield Street. The concerts are free. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner.

Wings, Wheels and Rotors Expo
October

A great mix of civilian and military helicopters and aircraft, plus a custom car show featuring classics, muscle cars and more than 300 varieties plus a vendor fair with more than 100 exhibitors selling food and car or aircraft related items.

Halloween Carnival: October 31

The Halloween Carnival is held in the Community Center parking lot at 10911 Oak St. This event is open to ages 12 and under and admission is $3 per child (adults are free). Admission covers all carnival games, prizes and activities. Wizard Magic Show, a costume contest and pumpkin carving contest are always a crowd pleaser at this event. Everyone walks away with prizes! A snack bar is provided for your convenience. Ghoulishly good fun for the entire family!

Holiday Bazaar: November

Multiple crafters selling beautiful and unique holiday decorations and gifts. Sponsored by the Los Alamitos Senior Citizens' Club, Inc. This annual bazaar is held at the Los Alamitos Community Center at 10911 Oak St.

Community Sing: December

Old-fashioned community sing-along, complete with hot chocolate, apple cider and desserts. Let your family experience this age-old community tradition. Bundle up and bring the entire family. This event will also serve as a drop off location for canned food items and toys for We Care and Toys for Tots. Sponsored by the City of Los Alamitos Fine Arts & Cultural Affairs Commission.
