Annual
Chancellor's Ball
October
This
black tie optional event has raised more
than $600,000 to provide student scholarships
and support innovative programs at Santa
Ana College and Santiago Canyon College.
Since the ball's inception, Rancho Santiago
Community College District (RSCCD) has
honored 41 Partners in Education for their
outstanding support of the district, its
colleges and its students. In addition
to a dinner and awards ceremony, the event
features a silent auction and the popular
"Buy the Book" live auction inviting participants
to step up to "buy" book scholarships
to help students meet the skyrocketing
costs of textbooks-one of the "hidden"
costs of attending college.
